Achar Murgh

Chicken – 1 kg
Oil – 3/4 cup
Coriander – 1 tsp, ground
Garlic – 2 tsp, crushed
Ginger – 1 tsp, ground
Red Chilli Powder – 1 tsp
Curry Leaves – 10 to 12
Turmeric Powder –  a pinch
Salt as per taste
Fenugreek Seeds – 1/2 tsp
Mustard Seeds – 1/2 tsp
Dry Red Chillies – 2
Juice of 1 Lime

1. Cut the chicken into small pieces.
2. Heat oil and fry the chicken along coriander, garlic, ginger, chilli powder, curry leaves, turmeric powder and salt.
3. Fry till well browned over low heat.
4. Heat a tsp of oil in a pan and fry the fenugreek seeds, mustard seeds and whole red chillies till well browned.
5. Pour this over the chicken.
6. Add lime juice and mix well.
7. Serve hot with chapati or rice.
