Originally devised as a remedy for stomach complaints, The Pink Gin was subsequently adopted by the British Navy as part of its medicine chest.
INGREDIENT:
1 measure Plymouth gin
Few drops Angostura bitters
1measure iced water
Maraschino cherry, to decorate
METHOD:
1. Pour the first three ingredients into a mixing glass and stir.
2. Strain into a cocktail glass and garnish with a Maraschino cherry.
