Payatham Paruppu Ladoo Recipe

Moong Dal – 1 cup
Sugar – 1 cup, powdered
Green Cardamoms – 5, powdered
Ghee – 1/2 cup
Cashewnuts – 1/4 cup, chopped

1. Roast the moong dal over low heat for 3 minutes.
2. Grind to make a fine powder with sugar and cardamom.
3. Sift into a bowl.
4. Heat 1 tblsp of ghee in a pan over low heat.
5. Fry the cashewnuts till golden.
6. Add to the bowl.
7. Heat the remaining ghee in the same pan and add to the bowl.
8. Mix well.
9. Shape into small balls.
10. Store in an airtight container.
