Ragi Vadai Recipe

Ragi Flour – 1 cup
Rice Flour – 2 tblsp
Onion – 1, finely chopped
Green Chillies – 2 to 3, finely minced
Asafoetida Powder – 1/4 tsp
Salt as per taste
Coriander Leaves – 2 tblsp, finely chopped
Curry Leaves – 1 sprig

1. Mix all the ingredients, except oil, in a bowl.
2. Sprinkle in 1/4 cup of water and mix to make a thick, stiff batter.
3. Add more water, if necessary.
4. Heat oil in a deep frying pan.
5. Make small round patties and deep fry in oil until crisp.
6. Remove and drain excess oil.
7. Serve hot.
