Seppankizhangu Vadai Recipe

Ingredients:
Seppankizhangu (Colocasia) – 500 gms
Besan Flour – 1/4 cup
Rice Flour – 1/4 cup
Asafoetida Powder – 1/2 tsp
Red Chilli Powder – 1 1/2 tsp
Cumin Seeds – 1/2 tsp
Coriander Leaves – 2 tblsp, chopped
Salt as per taste
Oil

Method:
1. Wash and boil the colocasia without peeling the skin, till tender.
2. Peel and mash well.
3. Add the other ingredients except oil and mix well.
4. Shape into small patties.
5. Deep fry in hot oil till golden and crisp.
6. Remove and drain excess oil.
7. Serve hot with chutney.
