Melon Soup Recipe

Melon – 500 gms
Boneless Chicken – 100 gms, chopped
Onion – 1, small
Mushrooms – 60 gms, sliced
Peas – 60 gms
Chicken Stock Cube – 1 tblsp
Soya Sauce – 2 tsp
Water – 5 cups
Sesame Oil – 1 tsp
Salt as per taste

1. Scoop out flesh from the melon.
2. Chill them to serve as a dessert.
3. Rinse out the hollowed shell and fill with salted water.
4. Steam the melon for about 45 minutes.
5. Remove and drain.
6. Bring water to the boil.
7. Add the chicken stalk cube and soya sauce.
8. Simmer for 5 minutes.
9. Add the chicken and vegetables.
10. Simmer till tender.
11. Pour into the melon shell and sprinkle oil in it.
12. Serve.
