Ingredients:
Rolled Oats – 1 1/2 cups
Roasted Vermicelli – 1 cup
Thick Curds – 2 cups, sour
Green Chilli Paste – 1 tsp
Grated Carrots – little
Coriander Leaves – 1 tbsp finely cut
Onions – 1/2 cup, finely cut
Oil – 1 1/2 tbsp
Green Peas – 1/4 cup, cooked
Cooking Soda – 1/4 tsp
Mustard Seeds – 1/2 tsp
Black Gram Dal – 1 tsp
Bengal Gram Dal – 2 tsp

Method:
1. Soak vermicelli in sour curds for 10 minutes.
2. Add oats to that and keep for another 5 minutes.
3. Heat oil, add seasonings, onion, green chilli paste and fry.
4. Add peas, mix well and pour over soaked vermicelli, oats.
5. Add enough salt, soda and mix well.
6. Pour in greased idli plates to which grated carrots are sprinkled.
7. Steam cook for 7 minutes. (After the steam comes out from cooker vent).
8. Serve hot with coconut chutney.
