White Sesame Seeds – 1 cup
Dry Red Chillies (round) – 1 cup
Urad Dal – 1 1/2 cups
Chana Dal – 3/4 cup
Peanuts – 1/2 cup, roasted and skinned
Jaggery – 4 to 5 tblsp, grated
Salt – 1 tsp
Oil – 2 tblsp

1. Roast sesame seeds in a dry pan over moderate heat till golden.
2. Remove and keep aside.
3. Pour 1 tblsp of oil into the same pan.
4. Add red chillies and fry for 2 minutes.
5. Remove and keep aside.
6. Pour the remaining oil and fry the dals.
7. Mix all ingredients together and grind to a coarse powder.
8. Store in an airtight container and use as required.
