Baked Paneer Recipe

Paneer – 200 gms
Milk – 2 cups
Onion Paste – 1/2 cup
Ginger Paste – 1 tsp
Green Chilli Paste – 1 tsp
Cornflour – 1 tbsp
Butter – 1 tbsp
Ajwain – 1 tsp
Oil – 1 tbsp
Oil for deep frying
Salt as per taste

1. Cut the paneer into 1 inch cubes.
2. Deep fry the cubes to light brown and keep aside.
3. Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan.
4. Fry the onion, ginger and green chillies.
5. Add the paneer and saute for 2 minutes.
6. Remove from fire and keep aside.
7. Heat the butter and add the cornflour to it and roast well.
8. Add the milk and cook till the mixture is thick.
9. Pour this on paneer-onion mixture.
10. Sprinkle ajwain on top.
11. Bake at 200C for 10 minutes.
12. Serve hot.
