Som Tum (Raw Papaya Salad) Recipe

Ingredients:
Raw Papaya – 1 kg, shredded
Tomatoes – 250 gms, chopped
Peanuts – 180 gms
Garlic Cloves – 6 to 8
Red Chillies – 6, whole
Fish Sauce to taste
Lemon Juice – 3 tbsp
Sugar – 2 tbsp

Method:
1. Pound the peanuts, garlic cloves and red chillies in a mortar and pestle.
2. Transfer into a bowl.
3. Add the papaya to the peanut mixture along with the tomatoes, fish sauce, lemon juice and sugar.
4. Mix well.
5. Remove into a serving dish and serve immediately.
