Onion Rings

Maida – 1 cup
Cornflour – 1 cup
Salt as per taste
Red Chilli Powder – 2 to 3 tsp
Soda – 1 glass
Oil as required
Onions – 2
Breadcrumbs – 1 cup

1. Cut the onions into rounds.
2. Take each ring and keep them separately in a plate.
3. Mix maida, cornflour, salt, red chilli powder with soda.
4. Ensure no lumps remain.
5. Dip each of onion rings in this batter and roll it in the breadcrumbs.
6. Deep fry in oil until light brown.
7. Remove and drain.
8. Serve hot.

Note: Soda is being used to make the onion rings crispy. You can use water also.
