Green Gram Dal – 1 cup
Raw Rice – 1 cup
Coconut – 1/2 cup, grated
Turmeric Powder – 1/4 tsp
Oil – 1 tsp
Cardamom Powder – 1/4 tsp
Cloves – 6
Cinnamon – 1/2 inch piece
Salt as per taste

1. Mix dal and rice.
2. Wash and drain the water.
3. Add 6 cups of water, turmeric powder and oil.
4. Cook.
5. When it is half cooked, add salt, cloves, cardamom powder and cinnamon.
6. Keep stirring until it is dry.
7. Add the grated coconut.
8. Mix well and Serve.
