Pickled Garlic

Ingredients:
Garlic – 6, peeled
Water – 6 cups
White Vinegar – 1 1/2 cups
Sugar – 1/4 cup, granulated
Salt – 1 tbsp

Method:
1. In a saucepan, bring the water, white vinegar, sugar and salt to a boil.
2. Then reduce the heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
3. Add the garlic cloves, increase the flame and boil continuously for 1 minute.
4. Remove the saucepan from the heat and allow the garlic mixture to cool.
5. When cooled transfer into airtight containers and refrigerate for 10 days before eating.
