Ingredients:
Oats – 1 cup
Lemon – 1
Turmeric Powder – 1/8 tsp
Water – 1 1/4 cup
Salt to taste
For Tempering:
Oil – 1 tblsp
Mustard Seeds – 3/4 tsp
Urad Dal – 1 tsp
Chana Dal – 1 tsp
Curry Leaves – few
Asafoetida Powder – a pinch
Green CHillies – 2
Method:
1. Heat a pan with oil and temper the items in the same order as given above.
2. Fry till the mustard splutters in medium flame.
3. Add water, turmeric powder and squeeze the lemon, mix the salt.
4. Bring to boil.
5. Add the oats and mix well.
6. Cook covered for 3 minutes in medium low flame.
7. Serve hot with chutney or dip.
