Oats Biryani Recipe

Rice – 1/4 cup
Oats – 1 cup
Beans – 10
Carrot – 1
Potato – 1
Onion – 1
Green Chillies – 2
Ginger – a small piece
Curry Leaves – few
Coriander Leaves – few
Mustard Seedsss – 1 tsp
Urad Dal – 1 tsp
Chana Dal – 1 tsp
Salt to tastte

1. Cut all the vegetables finely.
2. Grind ginger and chilli to a paste.
3. Heat oil in a pan.
4. Add mustard, urad dal and chana dal.
5. When mustard splutters, add chilli paste, vegetables and fry.
6.. Soak the rice in water for 30 minutes.
7. When vegetables are almost cooked, add soaked rice, oats, salt and water.
8. Cover the vessel with a lid and cook.
9. When oats are cooked, add curry leaves and coriander leaves.
10. Remove the vessel from the stove.
11. Serve hot.
