1. Soak the rice in water for 10 minutes.
2. Peel the green mango and cut into long strips.
3. Heat the ghee and add the whole spices.
4. Lower the heat and add the rice removing the water.
5. Mix in the mango pieces.
6. Stir-fry for 2 to 3 minutes.
7. Add the salt and add 4 cups of water.
8. Lower the heat and cover with a lid till the rice is tender and all the water has evaporated.
9. Mix in the sunflower seeds and chilli powder.
