Papaya Delite


Papaya Pulp – 2 cups
Sugar – 3/4 cup
Gelatine – 1 tblsp
Milk – 500 ml + 1 cup extra
Water – 1 1/4 tblsp
Vanilla Essence – 1 tsp
Cream – 1 1/2 cup

1. Make a paste of cornflour and 1 cup milk.
2. Dissolve gelatine in warm water.
3. Boil the remaining milk.
4. Add cornflour paste and stir constantly on a low heat.
5. Cook till milk is quite thick or of coating consistency.
6. Add sugar and stir.
7. Add gelatine mixture and mix well.
8. Add papaya pulp and stir till smooth.
9. Pour into bowl ad freeze.
10. Take out from freezer when it starts to set.
11. Whip with a beater till fluffy adding cream gradually.
12. Add essence and mix well.
13. Pour again into bowl and freeze.
14. Serve.
