Basmati Rice – 1 cup
Orange Juice – 2 cups
Cinnamon Stick – 1/2 inch
Oil – 2 tsp
Salt to taste
Orange Segments for garnishing
1. Wash the rice and keep aside for 10 minutes.
2. Heat the oil and fry the rice for 1 minute on low fire
3. Add salt to taste and the cinnamon stick.
4. Add the orange juice, mix gently and cover with a lid and cook on low fire till the rice is cooked.
5. Garnish with orange segments.
6. Serve with raita.
