Semolina Pancakes


Semolina – 1 cup
White Gourd (Lauki) – 1 cup, grated
Green Chillies – 4
Salt – 3/4 tsp
Black Pepper – 3/4 tsp
Butter Milk – 1 1/4 cup

1. Mix semolina, salt, black pepper.
2. Add butter milk and mix well.
3. Keep aside for 1 hour.
4. Add more butter milk and 1 tbsp oil to batter and mix.
5. Chop green chillies and mix with grated lauki.
6. Heat the frying pan, add 1 tbsp oil and tilt the pan to grease the base of pan.
7. Spread 2 tbsp batter and pour more oil.
8. Spread lauki mixture, cover and cook on slow heat.
9. Raise heat and cook from both sides.
10. Remove from pan and serve hot.
