Moong Masala Pancake

Ingredients:
Moong Dal – 1 1/2 cup
Cumin Seeds – 1 tsp
Coriander Seeds – 1 tsp, split
Aniseeds – 1 tsp
Chilli Flakes – 1/2 tsp
Chaat Masala – 1/2 tsp
Asafoetida – a pinch
Oil – 1 tblsp + more to cook
Salt – 1/2 tsp

Method:
1. Wash and soak dal.
2. After 8 to 10 hours grind with asafoetida and salt.
3. Add oil and mix well.
4. Add all the masalas and seeds and flakes, add enough water to make a thick paste or pouring batter.
5. Heat the griddle and pour 1 tsp oil and grease the base of pan or griddle.
6. Pour 2 tbsp batter and spread.
7. Tilt the pan.
8. Pour little oil and turn the cake.
9. Cook both the sides.
10. Remove and serve hot.
