Apple and Cashew Nut Pancakes


Apples – 2
Lemon – 1/2
Refined Flour – 1 cup
Milk – 3/4 cup
Baking Powder – 3 tsp
Salt – 3/4 tsp
Sugar – 3/4 tsp
Butter – 3 tblsp
Strawberry Jam – 3 tblsp
Butter or Oil to make the pancakes
Cashewnuts – 12

1. Slice the apples and rub with lemon juice.
2. Sieve the flour, salt, baking powder.
3. Pour milk and melted butter in mixie jar.
4. Add flour mixture, sugar and mix till smooth.
5. Pour in a bowl and leave covered for 45 minutes.
6. Heat the frying pan.
7. Pour little butter or oil, pour two tbsp butter into the pan, till the pan on all four sides.
8. Cook over a moderate heat.
9. Arrange apple slices on top and place cashewnuts.
10. Cover and cook.
11. Remove and serve with strawberry jam.
