Moong Dal – 1 cup
Green Chillies – 2, chopped
Carrots – 1/2 cup, grated
Ginger – 2 tsp, grated
Fresh Green Methi Leaves – 1 cup, chopped
Red Chilli Powder – 1/2 tsp
Garam Masala Powder – 1/2 tsp
Oil for frying
Salt to taste
1. Soak the dal overnight or for 4-5 hours.
2. Remove the water and grind it coarsely.
3. Mix in all the other ingredients and drop spoonfuls in hot oil and fry till crisp and golden.
4. Serve hot with tomato sauce or green chutney.
