Sora Puttu

Ingredients
sora (shark) – ½ kg
onions – 1 ½ cup, chopped
green chillies – 6, chopped
ginger – 2 cm, chopped
garlic – 1 whole pod, chopped
chilli powder – 3 tsp or to taste
turmeric powder – ½ tsp
oil – 4-6 tbsp
salt – to taste
coriander leaves – 2-3 tbsp

Method
Steam cook the fish with ½ tsp salt and ¼ tsp turmeric powder.
Cool , remove bones and skin and flake the fish.
Add chilli powder, turmeric and salt if necessary and mix well.
Heat oil, fry onions till light brown. add green chillies, ginger and garlic and fry well.
Add the fish chopped coriander leaves. Fry for about 5 minutes.
Serve as an accompaniment to steamed rice.
