Sweet Couscous Dessert Recipe

Couscous – 1 cup
Fruit Juice – 2 cups
Sweet Butter – 3 tblsp, melted
Almonds – 1/4 cup, blanched and powdered
Pistachio Nuts – 1/4 cup, powdered
Powdered Sugar – 1/2 cup
Cinnamon – 1 tblsp
Pomegranate Seeds – 1/2 cup, if available

1. Bring fruit juice and rose water to boil.
2. Add couscous, stir well.
3. Cover, remove from heat and let it stand for 15 minutes.
4. Fluff with a fork.
5. Rub well into grains 3 tbsp melted sweet butter.
6. Combine couscous with 1/4 cup each finely ground blanched almonds and pistachio nuts.
7. Sprinkle with mixture of powdered sugar and cinnamon.
8. Garnish with pomegranate.
9. Serve.
