Maravalli Kilangu (Tapioca) Dosa Recipe

Raw Rice Flour – 1 cup
Maida – 1 cup
Maravalli Kilangu (Tapioca) – 250 gms or 1 cup, chopped
Jeera – 3 tsp
Asafoetida – 1 tsp
Bengal Gram – 2 tsp
Mustard Seeds – 1 tsp
Coconut – 1/2 cup
Green Chilli – 3 to 4
Coriander Leaves – few
Ginger – 1 one inch piece
Pepper – 1 tsp

1. Boil maravalli kilangu (tapioca) and keep aside.
2. Mix coriander leaves, coconut, green chilli, ginger and pepper. Grind well.
3. Add tapioca and grind again.
4. Keep aside.
5. In a bowl add the raw rice flour, maida, jeera, asafoetida and ground mixture.
6. Add water and make a dosa consistency batter.
7. Keep it aside for 30 minutes.
8. Heat oil in a pan, fry mustard seeds, bengal gram and add it to the batter.
9. Make dosas as normal.
10. Serve hot with chutney of choice.
