Dry Masala Chicken Recipe

Chicken – 1 kg
Green Chillies – 2
Red Chilli – 1 tsp, powdered
Coriander Seeds – 2 tsp, powdered
Aniseed – 1/2 tsp
Turmeric Powder – 1/2 tsp
Garlic – 6 cloves
Black Peppercorns – 5
Salt – 1 tsp
Ghee – 1 cup

1. Clean and dry the chicken.
2. Grind all the ingredients except salt and ghee.
3. Rub over chicken and leave it to marinate for 2 hours.
4. In a pan add 200 ml water and 1 tsp salt.
5. Add the marinated chicken.
6. Bring to boil and then simmer for 20 minutes till dry and chicken is just tender.
7. Heat ghee and fry chicken over low heat for 10 minutes till golden.
8. Serve immediately.
