Rice – 250 gms
Urad Dal – 1 tsp
White Sesame Seeds – 1 tblsp
Asafoetida Powder – 1/2 tsp
Red Chilli – 2
Sesame Oil – 2 tsp
Salt to taste
1. Cook rice.
2. Dry roast the white sesame seeds in a frying pan and remove.
3. Without pouring any oil, fry the urad dal, asafoetid and red chilli in the same pan.
4. Crush them smoothly along with sesame seeds.
5. Mix all the ingredients with rice and pour sesame oil in it.
6. Add salt to taste.
7. Serve with raita.
