Ingredients:
Chicken Drumsticks – 1/2 kg
Onion – 1/2, shredded
For Marinade:
Green Cardamom – 3, whole
Cloves – 3
Cinnamon – 2 one inch pieces
Poppy Seeds – 1 tsp
Star Anise – 2
Chilli Powder – 1 tsp
Coriander Seeds – 1 tsp
Turmeric Powder – 1/2 tsp
Garlic – 1 tsp, ground
Ginger – 1 tsp, ground
Salt – 1 tsp
Thick Curd – 1/2 cup, smooth
Method:
1. Grind all the marinade ingredients except curd.
2. Mix the ground spices with curd and apply to chicken.
3. Allow to marinate for 3 to 4 hours.
4. Bake the chicken in an oven for 10 minutes at 220C.
5. Arrange on a serving plate and garnish with shredded onions.
6. Serve with mint chutney.
