Ingredients:
Onions – 2
Tomatoes – 3
Cabbage – 200 gms
Peas – 150 gms
Turmeric Powder – 1/4 tsp
Salt to taste
Oil – 2 tblsp
Cinnamon – 1 small piece
Cloves – 3
Grind Together:
Coconut – 1/2, scraped
Garlic – 7 flakes
Aniseed – 1/4 tsp
Red Chillies – 8
Method:
1. Cut onions, tomatoes and cabbage finely.
2. Grind the masala and keep aside.
3. Heat oil in a pan.
4. Season with mustard and curry leaves.
5. Add onions and fry till translucent.
6. Mix the tomatoes and fry for few more minutes.
7. Add raw cabbage and peas.
8. Fry till cabbage becomes tender and then add ground masala, turmeric and satl.
9. Pour enough water and boil till the gravy thickens.
10. Serve hot.
