Green Bhaji Recipe

Spinach – 3 bunch
Onion – 3, big
Peas – 1/2 kg
Ginger – 1 inch piece
Garlic – 10 flakes
Salt to taste
Green Chillies – 8
Coriander Leaves – 1 bunch
Turmeric Powder – 1/2 tsp
Tomatoes – 4
Oil – 3 tblsp

1. Slice onions, chop tomatoes and spinach finely.
2. Boil the peas in water.
3. Grind ginger, garlic, chillies and coriander leaves.
4. Heat oil and fry the onions till brown.
5. Add the ground masala and fry in a low heat till oil separates from it.
6. Add turmeric, salt, cooked peas, chopped spinach and tomatoes.
7. Pour enough water, cover and cook in medium heat till everything is tender and soft.
8. Mix 1/2 tsp of garam masala powder before removing from fire.
9. Serve hot.
