Sponge Cake – 1
For the Strawberry Cream:
Strawberries – 1 cup, washed
Strawberry Essence – a few drops
Red Food Colouring or Beetroot Juice – a few drops
Artificial Sweetener – to taste, if required
Strawberries – a few, sliced for garnishing
1. Blend the strawberries in a blender till smooth and creamy.
2. Fold in the whipped cream, strawberry essence, red food colouring or beetroot juice and artificial sweetener.
3. Spread the strawberry cream over the sponge cake and along the sides.
4. Garnish with strawberries and serve chilled.
