Ingredients:
Paneer – 500 gms, cubed
Refined Oil – 1/2 cup
Garlic Cloves – 1/2 tsp, fried
Onions – 1 tbsp, fried
Onion Seed Paste – 1 tbsp
Cashewnut Paste – 1 tbsp
Yogurt – 1 1/4 cups
Saffron – 1/2 gm
Vetiver – 5 drops
Yellow Chilli Powder – 1 tbsp
Coriander Powder – 4 tsp
Salt to Taste
Green Chillies – 5, slit
Method:
1. Mix the oil, garlic, onions, onion seed paste, cashewnut paste, yoghurt, saffron, vetiver, yellow chilli powder, coriander powder and salt together.
2. Marinate the paneer in this mixture for 30 minutes.
3. Transfer the paneer with the excess marinade in an ovenproof dish.
4. Seal with dough and cook in a preheated oven (180C/350F) for 20 minutes.
5. Remove from oven.
6. Garnish with green chillies.
7. Serve with naan or steamed rice.
