Broccoli and Bamboo Shoot In Oyster Sauce Recipe

Ingredients:
Broccoli – 250 gms, cut into florets
Oil – 2 tsp
Garlic – 1 tsp, chopped
Chicken Stock – 4 tbsp
Soy Sauce – 1 tsp
Salt to Taste
Oyster Sauce – 4 tsp
Cornflour – 1/2 tsp
Bamboo Shoots – 30 gms, sliced
Chinese Wine – 1/2 tsp
Sesame Oil – 1/2 tsp

Method:
1. Blanch the broccoli florets in salt water.
2. Heat the oil in a kadai and saute the garlic till light brown.
3. Stir in the chicken stock, soy sauce, salt and oyster sauce.
4. Cook for a few minutes and add the cornflour dissolved in water to thicken.
5. Add the bamboo shoots and cook further for 10 minutes.
6. Finish with Chinese wine and sesame oil.
7. Arrange the broccoli florets neatly on a serving platter and pour the prepared sauce on top.
8. Serve hot.
