Semolina Fritters

Ingredients:
Semolina – 1 1/2 cups
Yoghurt – 1 cup
Water – 1 cup
Peas – 1/2 cup
Onions – 2, chopped
Green Chillies – 2, finely chopped
Coriander Leaves – 1 tbsp, chopped
Salt
Asafoetida – a pinch
Oil for frying

Method:
1. Sieve semolina into a large bowl.
2. Add yoghurt and water and mix well.
3. Set aside for 20 to 30 minutes.
4. Add peas, chopped onions, green chillies, coriander, salt, asafoetida and a little oil to the semolina mixture and mix well.
5. Heat oil in a kadai, till it starts smoking.
6. Divide batter into small portions.
7. Deep fry until crisp and brown.
8. Serve hot with chutney.
