A simple, flavourful and very quick to make dish.
Ingredients:
Rice – 500 gms, cooked
Black Pepper Powder – 1 tsp
Salt as per taste
For Tempering:
Mustard Seeds – 1/4 tsp
Cumin Seeds – 1/4 tsp
Black Peppercorns – 2 tblsp
Ghee – 1/3 cup
Urad Dal – 1 tsp
Bengal Gram Dal – 1 tsp
Cashew Nuts – 2 tblsp
Ginger – 1 tsp, finely chopped
Curry Leaves – few
Method:
1. Heat ghee in a pan over medium flame.
2. Add all the tempering ingredients and fry for a minute.
3. Ensure the dals and cashew nuts do not get burnt.
4. Add the cooked rice, pepper powder and salt.
5. Mix well.
6. Serve at once.
