Ingredients:
Colocasia – 1 1/2 kg
Green Chillies – 1 tsp, finely chopped
Ginger – 1 tsp, finely chopped
Salt – 1 1/2 tsp
White Pepper Powder – 1 tsp
Red Chilli Powder – 1 tsp
Chaat Masala – 1 tsp
Green Coriander – 1 tsp, finely chopped
Breadcrumbs – 1/2 cup
Oil – 3/4 cup
Method:
1. Peel and wash the colocasia.
2. Immerse in boiling water and cook until it becomes tender.
3. Remove from water, grate finely and squeeze out all the excess water.
4. Add the remaining ingredients to the grated yam.
5. Mix well and divide into 8 equal portions.
6. Shape the portions into medallions.
7. Shallow fry on medium heat till they become crisp and golden brown on both sides.
8. Serve hot.
