How to Make Fish in a Spicy Curry Recipe

Ingredients:
Pomfret – 2, medium
Cumin Seeds – 1 tsp
Dried Red Chillies – 6
Mustard Seeds – 1 tsp
Garlic – 10 cloves
Turmeric Powder – 1/2 tsp
Vinegar – 1/4 cup
Oil – 3 tblsp
Onion – 1, large and finely chopped
Salt to taste

Method:
1. Cut each pomfret horizontally into 2 inch thick slices.
2. Grind together the cumin and mustard seeds, red chillies, garlic, turmeric powder, salt and vinegar to a fine paste.
3. Coat the fish with the ground paste and marinate for 30 minutes.
4. Heat the oil in a pan.
5. Add the onion and saute till brown.
6. Add the fish with the marinade and half a cup of water.
7. Cook till the water evapores and the fish is cooked.
8. Serve hot.
