Fish in Tomato Gravy Recipe

Fish Fillets – 750 gms
Salt to taste
Lemon Juice – 1 cup
Sesame Seed Oil – 4 tbsp
Onions – 8, medium, grated

Grind with a little Vinegar:
Garlic Cloves – 6 to 8
Dry Red Chillies – 6 to 8
Cumin Seeds – 2 tsp
Vinegar – 1 tbsp
Salt to taste
Sugar to taste
Tomatoes – 3, ripe, made into a thick puree

1. Marinate the fish with salt and lemon juice.
2. Keep aside for 30 minutes.
3. Heat the sesame seed oil in a pan.
4. Saute the onions till brown.
5. Add the ground paste and mix well.
6. Add the fish and simmer till tender.
7. Add the vinegar, salt, sugar and tomato puree and mix well.
8. Serve hot with steamed rice.
