Paruppu Masiyal

Tuvar Dal – 1/4 cup
Turmeric Powder – 1/4 tsp
Garlic Cloves – 2, crushed
Salt – 1/2 tsp
Cumin Powder – 3/4 tsp
Curry Leaves – 3, chopped

1. Wash the dal and drain.
2. Cook the dal to a creamy consistency with 1/4 tsp of turmeric powder and 1 cup of water.
3. Transfer the dal to a bowl.
4. Add 1/2 cup of water and mix well.
5. Add the garlic, salt, cumin powder and curry leaves to the creamy dal.
6. Mix well and serve.
