Green Tomato Salad

Ingredients
3 fresh unripe tomatoes, diced
2-3 green chillies, chopped
1 small piece ginger, finely diced
salt to taste
2 teaspoon fresh lime juice
1 teaspoon oil
1/2 teaspoon mustard seeds
1/2 teaspoon urad dal
1/4 teaspoon asafoetida powder

Method
Combine diced tomatoes, chillies, ginger and salt. Mix well.
Add lime juice, mix and set aside for a few minutes.
Heat oil in a small pan, saute black mustard and urad dal till the mustard starts to pop.
Add asafoetida powder and saute for a few seconds and combine with tomato.
Serve with rice or chapathi meal.
