Ingredients;
Prawns – 800 gms, shelled, deveined
Oil – 1/3 cup
Mustard Seeds – ½ tsp
Green Cardamoms – 4
Mace – 4
Onions – 3, chopped
Garlic – 2 tsp
Ginger – 2 tsp, julienned
Green Chillies – 2, slit
Salt to taste
Curry Leaves – 2
Cream – 1 1/2 cups
Method:
1. Heat oil in a non-stick pan.
2. Add mustard seeds, cardamoms and mace and saute till they crackle.
3. Add chopped onions, ginger, garlic and slit green chillies.
4. Cook till the onions are soft. Add salt.
5. Place the prawns in an oven proof dish and pour the prepared mixture on top.
6. Add the curry leaves and carom to the mixture.
7. Seal the dish with aluminum foil and cook in a preheated oven (175C/350F) for 25 minutes.
8. Remove from oven, garnish with chopped coriander.
9. Serve hot.
