Ingredients:
Soft Paneer – 500 gms, mashed
Sago – 100 gms
Spring Onions – 100 gms, minced
Green Chillies – 2 to 3, chopped
Cashew Nuts- 1/3 cup, broken
Raisins – 6 tbsp
Cumin Seeds – 1 tsp, roasted
Turmeric Powder – 1/2 tsp
Garam Masala – 1 tsp
Cornflour – 3 tbsp
Salt to taste
Vegetable Oil for frying
Method:
1. Cook the soft paneer until it is absolutely dry. When cool, mash again.
2. Boil the sago till soft.
3. Drain and blend to a coarse paste.
4. Mix together all the ingredients and knead.
5. Keep aside for 30 minutes.
6. Divide the mixture into lemon sized portions and shape into flat, round cutlets.
7. Heat the oil in a kadai.
8. Fry the cutlets a few at a time, until golden brown, remove, drain the excess oil and serve hot.
