Sookhe Aam Ki Chutney (Dried Mango Chutney) Recipe

Dried Mangoes – 250 gms, sliced, soaked for 1 hour
Water – 2 cups
Jaggery – 1/2 cup
Cumin Seeds – 1 tbsp
Asafoetida – a pinch
Black Peppercorns – 6 to 7, powdered
Black Cardamoms – 5 to 6, powdered

1. Boil the mangoes with water and jaggery.
2. Strain.
3. Dry roast the cumin seeds and asafoetida on a griddle and grind to a fine powder.
4. Add this to the strained mango pulp.
5. Mix in the black pepper powder and black cardamom powder.
