Aloo Ki Khatti Tarkari Recipe

Potatoes – 250 gms, boiled, mashed roughly
Vegetable Oil – 1 tbsp
Asafoetida – a pinch
Ginger – 1, one inch piece, julienned
Turmeric Powder – 1/4 tsp
Coriander Powder – 1tsp
Cumin Powder – 1 tsp
Tomato Puree – 1 1/4 cups, fresh
Salt to taste
Green Chillies – 2
Dry Red Chillies – 3

1. Heat the oil in a pan.
2. Add asafoetida, ginger, turmeric powder, coriander powder, and cumin powder.
3. Saute for a while.
4. Add the potatoes and saute for 1 minute.
5. Add the tomato puree, salt, and green chillies.
6. Cook for 2 minutes.
7. Garnish with dry red chillies.
8. Serve.
