Machchi Methi Recipe

Ingredients:
Fish – 500 gms, rahu or any other variety, washed, dried
Vegetable Oil – 1/2 tbsp
Fenugreek Seeds – 1/2 tsp
Coriander Powder – 2 tsp
Cumin Seeds – 1 tsp
Turmeric Powder – ½ tsp
Red Chilli Powder – 1 tsp
Yoghurt – 1 cup, hung
Onion – 1, medium, ground
Ginger – 1, one inch piece, ground
Fenugreek Leaves – 1 small bunch

Method:
1. Heat the oil in a pan.
2. Add the fenugreek seeds.
3. When the seeds turn brown remove them from the oil and discard.
4. Now add the remaining ingredients and saute till the oil separates.
5. Add the washed fish, mix gently and cook on dum for about 15 minutes.
6. Serve hot with steamed rice.

    You can use standard Britannia cheese that you get in the super market.
