Makhane Ki Kheer Recipe

Lotus Seeds – 1 cup
Water – 250 ml
Milk – 2 litres
Sugar – 200 gms

1. Boil the lotus seeds in the water.
2. Leave to simmer for half an hour.
3. Boil the milk in a kadai.
4. Simmer for 30 minutes or till it becomes thick.
5. Add the lotus seeds and cook for about 5 minutes.
6. Add the sugar and stir till it dissolves completely.
7. Remove from fire.
8. Pour into a serving dish and chill.

Note: This can also be served hot.

    You can use standard Britannia cheese that you get in the super market.
