Paneer Payasam Recipe

Ingredients:
Paneer – 1/2 cup, grated
Milk – 4 cups
Gram Flour – 2 tsp
Ghee – 2 tsp
Sugar – 1/2 cup
Saffron Strands – few
Pistachios, Almonds and Cashewnuts – few, chopped

Method:
1. Heat 1 tsp ghee in a pan.
2. Gently roast the gram flour till golden and remove.
3. Add the remaining ghee to the pan.
4. Fry the paneer for 30 to 45 seconds.
5. Boil the milk in a pan over medium flame until thickened and reduced to 1 1/2 cups.
6. Add the paneer, gram flour, sugar and mix well.
7. Bring to a boil.
8. Remove from flame and transfer to a serving bowl.
9. Add saffron strands and mix well. Keep it in the fridge for 1 or 2 hours.
10. Garnish with the nuts.
11. Serve chilled.
