Green Gram and Rice Recipe

Ingredients:
Rice – 3/4 cup, soaked for 1 hour, drained
Split Green Gram – 2 1/2 tbsp, soaked for 1 hour, drained
Ghee – 2 tbsp
Black Cardamoms – 2
Cloves – 4
Salt – 1 tsp
Sugar – 3 tsp
Raisins – 10 to 12
Water – 2 cups

Method:
1. Heat the ghee in a pressure pan.
2. Add the black cardamoms and cloves.
3. saute for a while.
4. Add the remaining ingredients. Mix well.
5. Close the pan and cook till 2 whistles.
6. Remove the pan from the heat.
7. After 2-3 minutes release the pressure.
8. Mix gently and serve hot.
