Ingredients:
Basmati Rice – 200 gms
Ghee – 3 1/4 tblsp
Cloves – 2
Cinnamon – 1
Bayleaf – 1
Black Peppercorns – 5
Water – 2 cups
Salt – 1 tsp
Method:
1. Clean, wash and soak the rice for 2 hours.
2. Drain the water and keep aside.
3. Heat the ghee, saute the cloves, cinnamon, bayleaf and black peppercorns for a few seconds.
4. Add the rice and saute for a minute.
5. Immediately add the water and salt.
6. Cook until the rice is done and the water gets absorbed.
7. Serve hot.
