Ingredients:
Bengal Gram – 200 gms
Turmeric Powder – 1 tsp
Oil – 2 tblsp
Aniseed – 1 tsp
Cinnamon Stick – 1
Coconut – 4 tsp, fresh, thin small pieces
Salt – 1 tsp
Sugar – 2 tsp
Method:
1. Boil the bengal gram with turmeric powder and water till done.
2. Heat the oil and saute the aniseed and cinnamon.
3. Add the coconut and saute further for 5 minutes.
4. Add the boiled bengal gram and then cook for 10 minutes.
5. Mix in the salt and sugar.
6. Serve hot.
